I am writing this because I am extremely happy with the service, & after winning 4 auctions in a row on the Free service, I felt the $6.00 subscription-though not necessary-was my way of saying thanks to its creator & controller. Free, unless you decide to invest $6.00 for a 1 year subscription to their "Mirror" service. None would guarantee 100% reliability, but one service seemed to always perform as expected & has won me more auctions than the others combined. My decision was based on a balance of cost & reliability. I have finally decided on my choice for sniping. Costs did vary considerably, & many suffered from bloat (providing nice, but too much un-needed information). There are many out there & most of them are very similar. So, after these poor efforts I decided that using an online service would be my next approach. When the softwares were working ok, about 20% of the time I would miss making the bid due to server error &/or Internet latency. ALL have failed at one time or other mostly due to changes in eBay's site particulars. I have used 4 different software based Sniper service over the past 3 years.
